Extremely reminiscent of the Silent Hill game soundtracks, and any of the atmospheric drone musicians signed to Cryo Chamber. Very haunting and ethereal vibe, the vocals on the last one in particular make me feel like I'm in a Silent Hill remake. FFO Atrum Carceri and Atlas Machine. Favorite track: BYBT XI-B.

Mr. Conner Venator is an incredible songwriter. On Bare Your Bloodied Teeth, he ventures into the dark ambient. The product is fear provoking, yet graceful. You're just as likely to look over your shoulder to check no one is there as to close your eyes and sulk in its beauty. Favorite track: BYBT V.

FLESH MECHANIC Dark ambient goes beyond sounds of questionable origin, and this album proves it. While it takes you on a trip through seemingly unearthly soundscapes, inbetween those you are suddenly met with suspiciously melancholic calm. These mood swings are reminiscent of going through various stages of depression, where even moments of peace seem distant and distorted. Sounds of rain or crickets only further ground this album in reality, making you realize this is not Hell - this is life. Embrace it. Favorite track: BYBT IV.
