Now the stars couldn’t even tell me what to do
‘Cause the songs I made when I was obsessed with you
Sounded so much better
Do I need your warmth just one more time?
‘Cause the hate and guarana that controls my mind
Won’t do me no good no more
They say no one will love you if you cannot love yourself
But the coolest chicks like you dig a sorry cry for help
I always said “I love you more” and turns out I was right so please just give me one more shot ‘cause you know I’ll burn out tonight
So I’ll come in, I’ll start a fire, fire
Come by and see, and see
‘Cause I just wanna take you higher, higher
Gang up with me
So I’ll come in, I’ll start a fire, fire
Come by and see, and see (I did it for you)
‘Cause I just wanna take you higher, higher
Gang up with me
So I’ll come in, I’ll start a fire, fire
Come by and see, and see
‘Cause I just wanna take you higher, higher
Gang up with me
It feels so insane to see you suffer through it too
Everything you did to me, someone shot straight back at you
When your state of sorrow guides you right back to my days
You’ll be welcome here but know that I can’t save you from your ways

I don't know what it is, but in DWTD's discography this record really stands out to me. Picking a favourite track is difficult because all of the songs sound incredible to me, but POISON is probably the most fresh and energetic song in my opinion. zWarhead
